About Tailoring

• Tailoring belongs to the group of crafting professions.
• Tailors need cloth for their work, which can potentially be dropped by all humanoid enemies in World of Warcraft. These are then often processed into cloth bales.
• They also need threads and dyes, which are mainly sold by NPCs around the tailor teachers.
• Tailors basically get more cloth from their opponents after they have learned it ((Plündern von Stoffen – trainable in Dalaran (Northrend) – WotLK).

• Tailors make armor for cloth classes (priests, mages, warlocks), as well as capes and the ever-popular bags.
• With the flying carpets, the tailor also makes unique flying mounts.

Learning Draenor Tailoring

To learn Draenor Tailoring you need Draenor Tailoring. There are 3 ways to get your hands on it:

• Buy it in Ashran. Alliance Players get it from  Royce Bigbeard in Stormshield, Horde Players from  Nonn Threeratchet in Warspear.
• If you built a corresponding profession building in your garrison, you will get the scroll from one of the NPCs.
• If you are still leveling, you can loot a quest item that starts a quest line that rewards you with the scroll.
  
   Alliance players loot Cryptic Tome of Tailoring from Draenor enemies or Karnoth during the quest Shadows Awaken.  Horde players loot Frostwolf Tailoring Kit from Draenor enemies or Dorogg the Ruthless during the quest The Butcher of Bladespire. The quest chain rewards you with the scroll.
