About Enchanting
- Enchanting belongs to the group of crafts.
- To practice the profession you need a runed copper rod, and if you want to sell or ship your enchantments, you also need parchment.
- Enchanters need green, blue or epic items, which they disenchant to obtain valuable materials such as dust or shards for their further work.
- In order not to have to buy the materials for your work in the auction house, it is a good idea to learn a crafting profession as a second profession.
- Enchanters enchant weapons and armor to improve stats, for example, but they can also put their enchantments on parchment and sell them in the auction house.
- Enchanters can also disenchant all armor of rare item value (green) and above, with a few exceptions, and use it to obtain materials for their profession (dust, shards, etc.).
- Enchanters can also create pets.
- Blood Elves have a +10 bonus to enchanting due to their Racial Arcane Affinity. This means that recipes stay orange 10 points longer, which can save materials and thus gold in many cases.

If your level is high enough, you can farm Abyss Crystal in old Northrend raids.
If you can’t farm these raids or can’t or don’t want to buy Abyss Crystal, take this approach:

10 x Greater Fortitude (80 Infinite Dust, 10 Crystallized Water) - 20-30
10 x Superior Agility (90 Infinite Dust)

5 x Haste (60 Infinite Dust)

15 x Precision (60 Greater Cosmic Essence)

5 x Greater Versatility (20 Infinite Dust, 20 Lesser Cosmic Essence)
If you have a lot of Dream Shards, craft Major Agility.

5 x Super Health (35 Infinite Dust, 35 Lesser Cosmic Essence)

10 x Greater Versatility (40 Infinite Dust, 40 Lesser Cosmic Essence)
or
5 x Mighty Stamina (75 Infinite Dust, 10 Greater Cosmic Essence)
The recipe is yellow at this point und skill points are not guaranteed.
So you may need to craft the item more often than specified.
Formula: Enchant Cloak – Mighty Stamina is sold by Vanessa Sellers in Dalaran (Northrend) for 4 Dream Shards. The NPC of the same name in Dalaran (Legion) will not sell you this recipe!

Get Formula: Enchant Cloak – Shadow Armor or Formula: Enchant Cloak – Wisdom from Vanessa Sellers in Dalaran (Northrend) for 4 Dream Shards. You only need one of these recipes! Then you craft:
- If Essences are cheaper than Infinite Dust
5 x Wisdom (30 Greater Cosmic Essence, 5 Abyss Crystal)
or - If Infinite Dust is cheaper than Essences
5 x Shadow Armor (60 Infinite Dust, 5 Abyss Crystal)
If Abyss Crystals are generally very expensive, you can also craft Formula: Enchant Cloak – Mighty Stamina.
