Vanilla Enchanting 1-300 | WoW Profession Leveling Guide

About Enchanting

Enchanting belongs to the group of crafts.
To practice the profession you need a runed copper rod, and if you want to sell or ship your enchantments, you also need parchment.
Enchanters need green, blue or epic items, which they disenchant to obtain valuable materials such as dust or shards for their further work.
In order not to have to buy the materials for your work in the auction house, it is a good idea to learn a crafting profession as a second profession.

Enchanters enchant weapons and armor to improve stats, for example, but they can also put their enchantments on parchment and sell them in the auction house.
Enchanters can also disenchant all armor of rare item value (green) and above, with a few exceptions, and use it to obtain materials for their profession (dust, shards, etc.).
Enchanters can also create pets.
Blood Elves have a +10 bonus to enchanting due to their Racial Arcane Affinity. This means that recipes stay orange 10 points longer, which can save materials and thus gold in many cases.

103 x Minor Health (103 Strange Dust)

The recipe is yellow from 70, skill points are then no longer guaranteed and you may need to craft the recipe more times, requiring more materials than specified.

90-120

10 x Minor Stamina (30 Strange Dust)

If Strange Dust is cheap and Magic Essences are not, stick with Minor Stamina until 120.

120-135

Find WoW Horde Kulwia in Stonetalon Mountains, or [alliance] Dalria in Ashenvale. Pick up the following recipes:
Formula: Enchant Bracer – Lesser Strength and Formula: Enchant Cloak – Minor Agility.
If they’re out of stock right now, try again in an hour or so – it just means someone was shopping just before you.

15 x Minor Agility (15 Lesser Eternal Essence)

135-155

20 x Lesser Stamina (40 Light Illusion Dust)

155-180

40 x Lesser Strength (80 Light Illusion Dust)

Recipe is sold by WoW Horde Kulwia in Stonetalon Mountains, or [alliance] Dalria in Ashenvale.
If they’re out of stock right now, try again in an hour or so – it just means someone was shopping just before you.

From 165 it becomes yellow, but if 2 Illusion Dust are cheaper than 4 Lesser Eternal Essences, skill with it until 185. Otherwise change from 165 to here:

165-180 15 x Versatility (60 Lesser Eternal Essence)

180-220

50 x Strength (50 Light Illusion Dust)

5 x Greater Defense (10 Rich Illusion Dust)

10 x Stamina (20 Rich Illusion Dust)

If you have a lot of Greater Eternal Essences, you can also craft Agility.

10 x Superior Health (20 Rich Illusion Dust)

Try to get Formula: Enchant Bracer – Greater Stamina in the auction house. It’s a World Drop. If you can’t get your hands on it, take this approach:

10 x Agility (20 Greater Eternal Essence)

5 x Greater Strength (10 Greater Eternal Essence, 10 Rich Illusion Dust)

5 x Greater Intellect (15 Greater Eternal Essence)

265-300

40 x Greater Stamina (160 Rich Illusion Dust)

You can get Formula: Enchant Shield – Greater Stamina from WoW Horde Daniel Bartlett (Horde) in Undercity and WoW Allianz Mythrin’dir (Alliance) in Darnassus. The recipe Binds when picked up, so you’ll need to pick it up with your enchanter. Like the other recipes in this guide, there is only one available at a time from the vendor, so if there isn’t one at the moment, someone else has bought it and you’ll have to wait a bit.
