About Alchemy
- Alchemy belongs to the group of Crafting Professions.
- To practice the profession you need crystal vials, which are sold by NPCs around the alchemy trainers and many other NPCs. Some recipes also require you to stand near an alchemy lab or have an Alchemist's Stone in your bag. The prerequisites for crafting the item are always displayed with the item crafting costs.
- Alchemists process flowers and herbs collected by Herbalism scholars, but also many other different materials in the course of transmutation.
- To avoid having to buy herbs from the auction house, it's a good idea to learn Herbalism as a second profession.
- Alchemists create potions, elixirs and flasls for daily use, but also a whole range of rare materials through transmutation.
- Flasks and potions are more effective with the alchemist himself than with non-alchemists.
- Alchemists can choose one of three specializations: Master of Elixirs, Master of Transmutation, or Master of Potions - depending on which is chosen it is possible to get more of a create item per materials used.
- Goblins have a +15 bonus to alchemy due to their Racial Better Living Through Chemistryy. This means that recipes stay orange 15 points longer, which can save materials and thus gold in many cases.
Small Tip:
Material specs are mostly designed to give you one skill point per item made (which is only guaranteed if the recipe is orange). [However, if recipes are yellow or even green, the chance to get a skill point increases only after multiple crafting. In this case, you will have to craft the suggested items a few more times (and thus, of course, buy or farm more materials).

If you don't have enough Netherbloom on hand, just make the recipe of 25-35 a few more times.

Recipe: Super Mana Potion is sold by Daga Ramba (Horde) or Haalrun (Allianz).
Note: If you are already at this NPC, you can also directly buy Recipe: Major Dreamless Sleep Potion, which you will need in the next step. This recipe can only be bought by a player about every 30 minutes, so if there is none, check back later!
