Northrend Cooking

The cooking teacher teaches you a lot of recipes, most of which turn green at 20 or 40 skill points.Get a total of 30-35 of the meat or fish listed below (can also be a mix!). Then cook them with the recipes you have learned:

• Worm Meat
• Shoveltusk Flank
• Worg Haunch
• Rhino Meat
• Chunk o' Mammoth
• Glacial Salmon
• Nettlefish
• Fangtooth Herring
• Musselback Sculpin

When you have quested in Sholazar Basin, you should go to the sewers of Dalaran and look for  Washed-Up Mage. When you have done the related quest in Sholazar Basin, you will get the quest Fletcher's Lost and Found from him, as a reward you will learn Recipe: Kungaloosh. When you have the recipe, go to the apple branch and buy all materials you need. Skill with it until 25.

Questing for the recipe in Sholazar Basin is not recommended, it would take more time than farming 35 meat or fish. This is only a hint for players who have quested there anyway.

Daily Cooking Quests

The cookery teacher in Dalaran does not teach you any more recipes, you have to get them from Derek Odds (Alliance) or Misensi (Horde) in exchange for 3 Epicurean's Awards in Dalaran.

You get Epicurean's Awards through the daily cooking quest. Every day you get at least 3, but some quests reward you with 5.

The daily quests are available from Katherine Lee (Allianz) or Awilo Lon'gomba (Horde) in Dalaran. Also from Marogg (Horde, Orgrimmar) or Robby Flay (Alliance, Stormwind).

The best thing to do is to first look in the auction to see which meat/fish is available and cheap and then buy the corresponding recipe. If there is not enough meat or fish to cook the recipe 60 times, you have to complete the daily cooking quests again the next day and can then buy another recipe.

Make a total of about 60 of the following recipes:

• Spiced Mammoth Treats (Chunk o' Mammoth)
• Tracker Snacks (Shoveltusk Flank)
• Blackened Worg Steak (Worg Haunch)
• Critter Bites (2 x  Chilled Meat)
• Hearty Rhino (Rhino Meat)
• Cuttlesteak (Moonglow Cuttlefish)
• Firecracker Salmon (Glacial Salmon)
• Imperial Manta Steak (Imperial Manta Ray)
• Poached Northern Sculpin (Musselback Sculpin)
• Blackened Dragonfin (Dragonfin Angelfish)
• Spicy Blue Nettlefish (Nettlefish)
• Spicy Fried Herring (Fangtooth Herring)

For all these recipes you need 1x Northern Spices. You can get these from the daily cooking quest, but they can also be found in the auction house.
