About Enchanting
- Enchanting belongs to the group of crafts.
- To practice the profession you need a runed copper rod, and if you want to sell or ship your enchantments, you also need parchment.
- Enchanters need green, blue or epic items, which they disenchant to obtain valuable materials such as dust or shards for their further work.
- In order not to have to buy the materials for your work in the auction house, it is a good idea to learn a crafting profession as a second profession.
- Enchanters enchant weapons and armor to improve stats, for example, but they can also put their enchantments on parchment and sell them in the auction house.
- Enchanters can also disenchant all armor of rare item value (green) and above, with a few exceptions, and use it to obtain materials for their profession (dust, shards, etc.).
- Enchanters can also create pets.
- Blood Elves have a +10 bonus to enchanting due to their Racial Arcane Affinity. This means that recipes stay orange 10 points longer, which can save materials and thus gold in many cases.

You can get Formula: Enchant Shield - Greater Stamina from Daniel Bartlett (Horde) in Undercity and Mythrin'dir (Alliance) in Darnassus. The recipe Binds when picked up, so you'll need to pick it up with your enchanter. Like the other recipes in this guide, there is only one available at a time from the vendor, so if there isn't one at the moment, someone else has bought it and you'll have to wait a bit.
